CEC Health Care along with Massapequa Library will host monthly Caregiver Support Groups.  Our Caregiver groups provide a confidential and compassionate space for caregivers to share experiences, challenges, successes, and also to access resources.  Guided discussions aim to reduce stress and promote well-being througout the caregiving journey.

Step into the Revolutionary War on Long Island as constumed reenactors bring the Spirit of '76 to life through dramatic readings of original letters, poems, and military dispaches by real people from Long Island.

Set against a colonial-era backdrop with period props, the program reveals the voices of Patriots, Loyalists, and British officers as they wrote of the uncertainty of war.

Through their words, audiences will experience the fears, loyalties, and difficult choices faced by local residents and experience the human side of the Revolution through the words of those who lived it.
