Free Income Tax Preparation courtesy of AARP for people aged 50 and above with low to moderate income.  Service will run through Friday, April 10.  Please sign up for an appointment.  Patrons should sign up for early appointments, not make duplicate appointments that take up additional time slots, and show up for their designated appointments.  This year AARP will be working exclusively out of our Bar Harbour Building on Fridays.

Registration will begin on January 2nd for district residents, and on January 9th for others.

NY State DMV approved Defensive Driving Course sponsored by AARP presents a 6-hour safe driving class.  Save 10% on your Auto insurance each year for 3 years/May reduce up to 4 points off the license.  Fee required - please pay when registering by check or money order.

Great South Bay Dance will have your kids moving to the music in this active 45 minute class.

CEC Health Care along with Massapequa Library will host monthly Caregiver Support Groups.  Our Caregiver groups provide a confidential and compassionate space for caregivers to share experiences, challenges, successes, and also to access resources.  Guided discussions aim to reduce stress and promote well-being througout the caregiving journey.

Meet up and play Canasta with your friends and neighbors.

Tai Chi Chuan uses relaxed, calming, choreographed movements to promote strength, stamina, energy, balance, and more! Exercises may be done sitting or standing.  Virtual Zoom class.

Shawn Nenos, Techmobile Coordinator with the Nassau Library System, will be providing the public with one on one tech help.  Shawn will be helping people with problems with their tablets, smart phones, computers, ereaders, and more!  He'll also be giving assistance with Apps (including Libby, and the Nassau Libraries App.)
